Deleted Post

I published a post that changed it's formatting by magic or some other method I don't understand. Nothing I did would fix it, so this morning I decided to delete the post since it wasn't in easily readable condition. If I'm looking at something and thinking "What the HELL is THAT?" I'm not comfortable leaving it up for general consumption.

Some days I wish I could figure out if it was Blogger or me that needed the services of Captain Tune Up. Maybe both.

  1. The Blogger editor leaves a lot to be desired. I believe that's why so many people use Wordpress but I'm too lazy to start over.

    1. I can't think of a better reason not to start over. Lazy works for me too, especially since I've had to start over once already. It's not a pleasant experience.

  2. Sherry,
Every time Blogger "new and improves" itself, I shudder. Whenever I use the WYSIWYG editor, the font changes at some random moment and there have been other glitches. But my main objection has always been the largely impersonal feel to the entire site. I still miss Blogstream.

    1. I've no idea what happened. I posted and found that the entire post occurred on lines of white that looked like tape with teensy, tiny letters typed on them. I have no clue. None.

As to the impersonal feel, I suspect that's less a result of the site itself and more because the people who made Blogstream so personable don't blog with us anymore.

Scratchy is on Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook as are most of the rest of them. We've scattered far and wide and I'm afraid there is no place that can bring back the Blogstream experience.

  3. well Blogster is very similar to Blogstream, Sherry, check it out. Its a community of bloggers, much smaller than blogstream and way more personal. Reminds me a lot of blogstream.

    1. Might be a good place for Mr.Ornery to check out, but not me. I'm not really interested in spending time on the internet much anymore.
